TFAI is a cooperative of forest industries in Timiskaming, ranging from small independent logging operators to large forest products producers. On behalf of these partners, TFAI is responsible for the sustainable forest management of the Timiskaming Forest. The Timiskaming Forest is an approximately 10,000 square kilometer forest land base that extends westward from the Ontario/Quebec boarder for 166 kilometers, and northward from Lake Timiskaming to Lake Abitibi.
